OK, we all know its a damn election year in the US. You can't turn on a television without one or more networks discussing it. Even worse, political ads are starting up on many. Well fuck all those canidates running for office. This thread is not about those people anyway. This is about what you the forum reader would do if elected to office. It don't matter what nation you are from. You can be president, prime minister, or whatever. Just post what your platform would be. Don't have to be serious one either. So have fun with it.

 

If I were elected to office I would... attempt to ban US election coverage on UK TV until the election is actually happening! ... Am i to believe the US are voting for who they want to vote for!!

 

My campaign slogan would be:

In the UK, we have legalised same sex marriages, they're called Civil Partnerships.

 

That's a bit on the harsh side TJ.. no need to bomb the countries off the face of the planet - why not just kill the populace as a whole - the land can be used for golf courses, shopping centres, holiday destinations (after some terraforming), etc etc ...

If elected I would outlaw televangelists. I make same sex marriages legal just so I could watch the divorce court judges' heads explode when trying to figure out which person to fuck over. I would push for the shut the fuck up law which would make people who blame everyone but themselves for their stupidity shut the fuck up or be the target of roaming gangs carrying bats. Granted I would be the one who decided who needed to shut the fuck up. I would make "reality TV" illegal. I would tell the FCC that tits, nipples, sex and porn are to be allowed on broadcast television late at night. I would ban the BCS rankings and force college football to adopt a playoff system for division 1. I would lower the drinking age back to 18 since it is only fair if can send 18 year olds to fight in a war, they should be able to get drunk. I would deport the entire Spears family to someplace where no one would hear from them again. I would public execute Nancy Grace and Bill O'Rielly. I would install a bitchin hot wings bar in the Oval Office. I would give congress a make your own taco bar. I would institute clothing optional Fridays.

 

If I was elected president one of the first things I would do is push for public funding of all elections and make campaign contributions illegal. The next thing I push for would be legalization of all drug and have all drugs sold in drug stores including tobacco and alcohol. After that I would commute the sentences of all non-violent drug offenders.

On the energy front I would push for alternative fuels, especially bio mass production of hemp and commit huge resources for developing these fuels and renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power. I would also push for anti-trust legislation to break up monopolies currently enjoyed by the major oil companies.

Also on the domestic front I would push for national health care thus eliminating the health insurance industry. I would also try to put much more of our resources into research and development of promising developments like stem cell research and I would try to raise the wages of health care providers and open more medical schools and research facilities.

I would also divert large sums of money into education, and foster programs for gifted and talented students as well as make student loans cheap and available for everyone. I would do searches to find the most gifted and talented members of our society and put them in accelerated programs of study with the specific purpose of putting their talents and abilities to work sooner in the areas of research and development in critical areas.

On the international front I would call for immediate and continuing negotiations with all Middle East states. I would freely admit the USA's past mistakes and misdeeds in the region and make the concessions necessary to bring peace to the region and stop the hatred directed at America thus drastically reducing if not eliminating the terrorist threats we face now.

I would shatter the military/industrial complex, cut defense spending and use the savings for our domestic programs as well as increase foreign aide to all countries in hopes of raising the standard of living and productiveness of poorer nations. Instead of bombs and bullets I would export food and medical supplies.

I would also fully and fairly support the United Nations, try to lead the fight against global warming, open more avenues for legal immigration and seize the assets of any companies or individuals who employed illegal immigrants. I would impose higher taxes on corporations who exceed reasonable profit margins and make good faith and fair dealing a national standard in the work place, for all employees.

Balancing the federal budget and eliminating the national debt would be another priority even if we have to raise taxes in the short term. And I would make sure programs such as Social Security and aide to families with dependent children are adequately funded from the national level.

There are probably a few other things but I think that's enough for now.

I wouldn't want to be president .....I would vote for Stumbler and hope maybe he would appoint me secretary of pussy..... and I would have a dozen interns or so to give me head under my desk every day.
