Ok. I get wanting stability in the Middle East. Super important... but... the G8 after ww2 seized the land that is now Israel from existing countries and created a new country, and then went and displaced those living there previously without granting right of return, or compensation for those lands owned.

Why the US continues to support Israel is a mystery to me. I am not against jews or judaism, but we (the US) does not offer this level of backing or support to ANY other theocracy.

If the argument is that Israel existed in times of yore and that in those days a jewish state existed, and because of that, deserves to exist there again... I would then suggest that 3/4 of the US and much of Canada be given back to the Native American population, as they too were driven from their homes in a diaspora similar to that of the Jews.

They killed 34 sailors and wounded another 171. They have radio communications between Israeli pilots and the command positively identifying the USS Liberty as a US naval vessel and they are ordered to shoot anyway. And the US government not only turned a blind eye to those war crimes against us they helped Israel cover it up and to this day the US government continues to hide the information they have on the attack. Even though the veterans of the USS Liberty have been fighting since the day it happened on June 8, 1967 for the truth to come out the US government continues to cover up for Israel.

I do not buy Stanley's explanation. But do admit I was having some serious vision problems that made it very difficult for me to see details in the background of photos and I accidentally posted some with kids in them. Thankfully though I got my glasses adjusted so I can see better and intend to be much more careful in the future.

And Stanley's claim that there is no bias is just laughable. I am under constant personal attack and name calling on this board but if I respond in kind I will be suspended and/or banned.

I am being falsely accused of antisemitism because I oppose Israel's persecution of the Palestinians and believe the US needs to stop its blind support of Israel and cut off all aid until Israel reaches a real two state solution with the Palestinians and returns the land they have stolen from them.
