You know until now, I didnt know you havent wrote here before! But you seem so experienced! So much so i thought you were one of the veterans here. Haha. This came as a surprise to me.

With your great command of english, I'm sure you could write something great. If you're stuck for a plot, like someone else had said earlier, you can always borrow others and improvise. Sex stories are good largely because the sex parts are good. So if your english is good, your stories will be. Then again. No rush. =)

 

Now, don't you start! Enough. I said that I would think about it.

 

Just look at the poor shumks that are trying it like me don. I would say if I could do it so can you. But I just finished my 3rd story which I would say is getting closer to posting a good story, a real story. Go for it man I am sure your 1st attempt will be better then my 10th.

It is sort of fun, though, reading all of the made-up reasons why I would be the best thing since Hemingway (who I don't like very much anyway).

I'm still thinking about it. With the way my brain works, I'll probably be thinking about it for the next 10 years. A suggestion for everyone; don't hold your breath.

I am not saying you would be god. But I have read many of your post you seem to be well spoken and translate that very well into the written word. I think a few times you have hinted at thoughts for stories if you did write one I say let it out what it is will be. I am sure though from what I have seen of you so far it would be worth a read.

Bear with it, the final version of the story is much, much better than the first. Just shows what can be done when someone really wants to improve.

DonB (may The 9 Gods be with You), you seemed to be expressing the view that all these efforts to get you to write were off topic.

May I remind you that the topic of this thread is "Recommended Writers". We and all your multitude of fans are recommending YOU, when you finally put fingers to keyboard.

I'm looking forward to the year 2020 when your silver prose will see the light of day. Always assuming that the server problems will be fixed by then.

 

I am truly glad that this will be your last comment on this topic. By the way, ejls has got me thinking in some areas that seem to be working for her. If (I did say if) I pursue those areas, it will be some time before I think I am ready for a try. Stay tuned. Probably not before the server issues are resolved.

 

I just finished reading a really nice little story by jl317; *not_secure_link*stories.xnxx.com/story/21983/Tiffany_and_the_Photographer. Really nice. Recommended to all. One of the few who is still posting even with the comments and rating system down. We owe support - well, at least I do.

 

I agree that was a very good story and I thought well written. Defiantly worth a read!

Does anyone else feel this way?

Over the last few weeks, I've attempted to read a number of newly posted stories on the main story pages, and I must say that I've finished only a few of them. Why? The quality of the submissions, or lack of it.

Maybe it's the inability of readers to vote and comment that has failed to push poorly written stories to the bottom of the listings. Maybe it's the unwillingness of some writers to submit their work, knowing that they will not receive any comments, will not know how many times they are being read, and will not be able to judge the worth of their submissions in the public's eye. Maybe it's my own snobbery, which I'd like to think it is not.

In any case, there seem to be an inordinate number of new stories that are walls of words, with little or no punctuation, horrible spelling, laughable misuse of homonyms (there, their, and they're or to, two, and too), indecipherable sentence structure, and no plot. Sure, it's a porn site. We're not Nobel Prize winning writers. But how can we enjoy a porn story if we can't read it?

So, my questions are, where are the good writers? Is everyone on the Recommended Writers list (or people who should be on it) holding back on submitting their new stuff? Did they all go on extended winter vacations? Did they all run out of ideas? What is happening to our website?

I'm not sure that I qualify as a good writer, but I certainly won't be publishing while the site is in its current condition. I've better things for my time than spend days writing a story for it to vanish without any opinion from readers.

I suspect other writers may feel the same and are understandably staying away. And the same may happen to readers who see150 stories, without votes, reads or comments, each time they visit.

 

They should of proofread they're stories, I no I should just except that that's the way it is and not let it effect me, but sometimes those mistakes are enough too make me loose my mind.
