the problem is that the farms that do get the federal cash are all massive and corporate tied farms that are monocultures that are not anywhere near diverse enough to not need the chemicals that monsanto makes
oh and they are mainly owned by republicans and the likes of the bundys

most farms are in fact growing for a larger company be it a distributor or a grocer direct
the few that are independent are going out of business
they will get visits from the big companies as well as i did
4 men in suits in black escalades
each is armed and wearing shades
they try to get you to sign a contract with a low level company without doing any digging on who owns it
if you are dumb enough to sign that company dissolves into anothe r and another and another till you have a contract with monsanto, smithfield, tyson, or one of the other handfull
i dont need to go find the statistics because i have talked to the assholes from IBP

It's not true.

In terms of corn, there's VERY few "organic" growers and almost everybody uses Roundup. It's very effective. There's very little non-GMO corn out there, and fewer elevators who will take it. To remain "organic", the elevators need to completely clean themselves or have a dedicated one to handle organics. If the same elevator is used, it's no longer organic because it gets contaminated with the pollen/dust of GMO corn.

And organic growers still used pesticides, and they're usually more harmful to the environment.

Something tells me that you are just paying lip service on this issue... I would think a corporation that gets a tax refund even after having paid no taxes would bother you immensely. I was an individual, have lived below the poverty line for the past 8 years, I've never once got a tax refund for more than I actually paid. GE, on the other hand....

I want tax exemptions for organizations like churches eliminated... Look how much money the Catholic church makes each year and pays no taxes... And all those other so called, non profit groups that never pay their fair share...

It doesn't stop there either, I would go over every social welfare program and cut the waste and fraud there as well...
