Lizzie the second's actual B'day is April 21st.

 

And we still call it Victoria Day.

In Ontario we call it 'the 2 4 weekend' as in a 24 case of beer to celebrate it and open our cottages if we have them.

We've done same to Temples, Mosques, etc. People not following increased the number of infected & deaths. The law states how many can congregate together for safety sake. For awhile celebrants could meet in the parking lot but it was stopped because they insisted on shaking hands.
Masks protect you from the expectorant of the wearer.
Personally I think that we should allow idjits to congregate, it might help with the surplus population.
Remember Canada is not an extension of The USA and Yankee Rights cease at your borders. lol

 

We have the same problem in the US. It's really no different than if a Pastor chained all the fire exits shut and said it was because God told him that's how the devil gets in. We've seen churches that where the Minister married underage girls to the men of the church. No one bitched that the government was trampling their rights when these guys were charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

It's really only an issue in in non-denominational churches where the driving force is the Pastor's personality. His financial stability and the church's are one in the same. Any significant drop in contributions is a serious problem.
