  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The 2A is the Most important Right we have in the Bill of Rights ! It is the necessary Tool to maintain ALL of the other Rights. Some might say that the Pen is mightier than the Sword. Maybe so, at certain times ! However currently the 1st Amendment is also under every bit as much attack as the Second. All it takes is to be "labeled" as a "hate group" by the SPLC ! Facebook and other social media are being "forced" to Deny our First Amendment rights to law abiding citizens !

Whomever is pulling these strings are asking for another Civil War in America. We know who they are ! The International Banking Cabal who finances wars on both sides, just one side more than the other. Their goal is to Disarm the American Citizen's ! The One Country capable of fighting off oppressors!

For @Truthful 1 . This is my explanation.

The reason for the yawn is cause you choose a period of time where they were fully authoritarian states. Hence the whole argument about gun control is nothing but shit. I suppose I could have used a laughing gif cause of what the last sentence of what you posted, 'govt manipulates tragedies'. By using examples of things that happened decades ago arent you trying to manipulate people too?

Also Uganda? Seriously? You realize thats in Africa where other than few select countries (and even in those) the govt is NEVER in control. Its the warlords, so if the so called 'Christians' had they would still be mowed down.

Soviet Union? Do I really need to elaborate further?

China? Was never a democracy in the first place. So using it as a example is a moot point

Germany? Germany wasnt united till 1990.

    Turkey? Guatemala? Cambodia? Same shit.

Never did I say or imply dictatorship is ok, you just assumed I was all for it. Why? I have no clue, am not a mind reader. The reason I ridiculed your post is cause you didnt think properly before posting. But lets take it a step further ok? Lets say US turns into a dictatorship, yes I know it is something that will never happen and its not cause the citizens have guns, if you actually believe that then no matter what else I say wont matter. But lets say hypothetically US turns into a dictatorship, citizens armed with guns are going to fight a standing army thats under the control of a dictator?

I havent but I do wonder if you really believe what you yourself posted. Gun control...the laughable thing is that people have been screaming for it for quite sometime now but nothing has been done. But that you actually feel or believe that they are coming for 'your guns' only makes me shake my head and laugh.

Also you are the one that missed the point, I have never talked or given my opinion about gun control in this thread. Nothing I have said says anything about gun control. The yawn is for the examples used from decades ago. And again never did I say or imply dictatorship is ok, you just assumed I was all for it.

IronFist I understand you to be Asian ! As we speak Millions of unarmed Asians in Hong Kong protesting their rights are on the brink of being invaded by the Chinese PLA!

The Island of Taiwan is currently also being threatend by Bejing. most citizens probably also unarmed. They do not want Bejing Rule! Are you saying they don't have a voice? Are you saying they should not fight for self Rule? Are you saying these people have no voice about their governance?

Gun control is hitting what you aim at.
The dumbocrates have found they cant take our guns, so they decided to take our ammunition.
Here in Texas you cant find ammo.

Oh PIB, order it online and stock pile. Send me a PM if you need to know of my favorite websites.
Don't bother with the Academy's or other 'sporting' stores. I'm loaded to the gills with ammo
for my .45's and my AR-15. I just wish it was 308 instead of .223, but that's all I could find when

So, I’m a proud gun owner and I’m a democrat. I don’t for one second believe my gun rights are in jeopardy at all.
In my state I didn’t need a permit to buy. I can walk into any store get a quick background check and walk out with my purchase.
I got a CCP and that didn’t take long at all.
I just recently purchased a new gun. I ordered online had it shipped to my ffl and again walked in and walked out with it.
Never once was I required to take a safety class. Now I’ve been around guns my entire life. But the guns I grew up with are much different than today’s model. I had revolvers and long range rifles growing up.
Even though I am quite confident in my skills, I still took a class when I bought my first semi. It just for me made common sense. Same thing when I got my first AR. Like I said these weren’t the guns I grew up with. For me, I don’t understand why it isn’t mandatory to take a safety class. I had to take one when I got my drivers permit, I had to take one to be cpr certified. I had to take one at my gym to learn the machines. Yet nothing for a gun. See, that will never make sense to me. The fact that I have a permit to carry but don’t need one to own it is a bit mind boggling to me.

I have had hunting Licenses , and NRA training all my life. I don't get a hunting license every year, as I do not hunt every year. But they are kept as records!
Thus I do not need a safety class. I'm also a US Marine veteran, thus I have all the training required. Granted there are some Marine veterans who go off the chain, they do not represent the majority of us!

Yes but the majority of people don’t have your substantial training. I moved to Texas as a young girl and spent my teen years on a ranch and we all had guns. All us kids were required to take basic safety “courses” from the foreman before we were allowed to shoot. I got my own first gun at 13, mine, not one I had to borrow, mine. But before I was allowed to use it, again I had to take a “course” with the foreman, and I had to follow certain rules. I didn’t hunt, but I sure loved shooting at soda cans.
Now I was young when I got my first gun, but even the older kids had to go through training. And we had to with each gun we got. So even me, around guns since I was 9 still believes in training and courses.

I want to build a working historic gun from a kit, black powder, lead, flint...strictly hobbyish, build it beautiful, fire it once, make sure it works properly, hang it on the wall, move on to the next....if I like the building process

    1. conroe4
Had a friend that did just that. I shot it once. Fucking PITA. It was HELL to load, it was FUCKING HELL to clean.
And shooting it was a blast of fire and smoke, waiting for the smoke to clear, to see if you even hit the target.
Have at it my friend, it's bullshit compared to modern firearms.

I beg to differ, we have a 2A right to firearms ! There is no rights on cars, just a priviledge to drive, that is if you can pass the driving test and obey driving laws!

Right exactly, a right doesn’t mean it can’t be regulated. It doesn’t mean you have to. It’s still a privilege. There are still laws and regulations with rights. And just because you have a right doesn’t mean it a right for everyone. Did you ever take a civics class? How about a law class on the amendments?

I'm a gun owner, fully support the right to bear arms. I also have no problem with background checks or reliable ways to keep guns out of the hands of people with the 'appropriate' or 'dangerous' mental issues.

To me, proper gun control is in the grip - for a semi-automatic pistol, I prefer the two handed grip - non-trigger palm cupped over the fingers gripping the pistol, well below the receiver. NO crossed thumbs!

Gun control is for people who can't control their guns.

Not sure if that makes complete sense, but it sounds like a handy saying.
Maybe better - 'gun control is for people who can't control themselves'.

I have a friend, who is actually Republican by the way, and she always says she doesn’t want a gun because she is nervous about her family. She keeps asking me how I know someone in my family won’t use it on each other. I remind her that my guns are locked (even though I can carry I don’t) and we discuss gun safety a lot.

Living alone, I don't have that problem, but it is a very serious concern with a family. Obviously, a gun safe is the remedy - fully loaded, ready to fire in the event of an intruder, but with a code that none of the kids know. I've read too many stories about kids getting access to family guns.

In some areas, hunting is taught at an early age - special care needs to be taken that a teenager understands the ramifications of responsible gun stewardship. And parents need to be keenly dialed in with their children in case they show... bad thinking.
