I got my first vaccination shot today so I’m feeling damn tired. Did some packing and stuff but it’s a million degrees so I am moving slowly lol. Summer sucks.

 

Summer's always been tough to get through but hey, at least you're somewhat protected from the epidemic. Hope you're staying safe and feeling better tomorrow though!

I have the sneezes.

 

Had a solid 7 hours of sleep and I feel good! No side effects from my shot! Now I’m lying on my bed in my underwear drinking an ice tea lol

 

Typical day but nothing special.

Went to grocery store to pick up a few things then got lunch. Later walked around park. Sat around house majority of the day and fell asleep for an hour. Walked around block afterwards.

And I am playing a game right now.

It was fraught with minor, stupid perils! Took a walk to the store two blocks away, and by the time I passed maybe the fourth house when one of my favorite old Trax sandals came apart - creating a 5 inch flap in the front, so I had to 'funny walk' back home to change them out (fortunately, I learned a lot from Monty Python). The rest of the day was gravy (not really, because I'm not a fan of gravy - but that's for another post).

I had a wax and pedicure. I feel like jello now, all relaxed and content. Then I picked up stuff at the pet store for my pets because they’re spoiled rotten. And I even got more stuff ready for the yard sale next weekend

Had a downer early afternoon, went to visit a dear friend who is in a nursing home while recouping from pneumonia and a lung infection. She looks so frail, we traveled and socialized with her and her husband for over forty years. Doubtful that she’ll fully recover, so sad.
Getting over the downer, but it still bothers me.

 

Great 4th!! Started with Beautiful Sunny but not too Hot day of Golf with my younger brother and Best friend, then a delicious dinner Barbeque Ribs and wings, and finally Fireworks with my niece and nephews...Life just doesn't get much Better then today
