I can understand how cheated you must feel. Trump preyed on his supporters to raise $250,000 after losing the election. This was the biggest political rip-off ever. Do you think justice should be dealt for those who stole your money?

Actually Trump raised $250,000,000 for his legal defense fund that did not exist. Most all the money actually went into his Super Pasc that acts as a giant slush fund that he can spend anyway he wants. Which is why most the money that was paid out went to his inner circle like the $1 million donated to his Chief of Staff Mark Meadows' "foundation" and millions funneled into his hotels.

And after nearly a quarter billion donated to him for "legal defense" the RNC ended up paying large sums of his legal fees.

So supporters got ripped off twice. Once donating to Trump's "legal defense" and then again if they donated to the RNC that was paying his legal bills.

The Trump presidency was nothing but one giant rip off where he and his family used the White House for one giant infomercial to put money into their own pockets.

And yet treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans continue to support their Chosen One.

Every time you see a headline like this you can just laugh. Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans are always "aghast" what what Traitor Trump does. But never actually withdraw their support for Trump. They are still Traitor Trump cult followers and he is their Chosen One.

And we can also discount this because its coming from MAGA Haberman who spent four years being Trump's stenographer and getting it published in the New York Times. She never once really reported on Trump let alone challenge him for fear of losing her precious access and only started being critical of Trump after he was out of power.

Trump allies 'aghast' that Kimberly Guilfoyle got paid $60K for three-minute 'Stop the Steal' speech: NYT reporter

On CNN Tuesday, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman revealed that members of former President Donald Trump's inner circle are stunned that Kimberly Guilfoyle was paid $60,000 for her intro to the January 6 "Stop the Steal" rally.

The revelation of the fee paid to Guilfoyle came from House January 6 Committee member Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) during the second day of public hearings.

"The Trump campaign, or post-Trump campaign, was trying to raise money off of the Big Lie," said anchor John Berman. "We since learned... that Kimberly Guilfoyle was paid $60,000 to speak at the rally on January 6th. $60,000 for a speech that was, what, three minutes long. And what have you heard over the last several hours since that revelation about how people in Trump world feel about this?"

"I want to say two things about that," said Haberman. "People in Trump world are sharing that clip, they are aghast that this is the amount of money she got for a speech to introduce her boyfriend. They couldn't really get over — I had one former adviser say to me, essentially, these were folks raising money in small amounts from retirees telling them this was going to some legal fight that didn't really happen, and instead Kimberly Guilfoyle is getting paid."

But, Haberman emphasized, there is nothing that unusual about the deal Guilfoyle got in the context of the Trump campaign.

"This is the whole ecosystem," said Haberman. "It is fine that some people are upset about this. There is some level of this that often goes on around Trump, and shouldn't be a surprise to anyone."

No one around here gave money to Trump. I asked several times and not a soul would admit to donating a dime to Trump at any time.

It's no surprise. Anyone who frequents a social forum where there's always a thread titled, "Who's spun and wants a dick?" at the top of the page, is too sophisticated to fall for Trump's transparent grift.

'MAGA inc is laughing at you': House Republican calls out Kim Guilfoyle's $60,000 payday for Jan. 6

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr.'s fiancée, was paid $60,000 to introduce Donald Trump in a speaking engagement during the "Stop the Steal" rally preceding the Capitol riot, according to CNN.

Members of the January 6 committee told the outlet that numerous people within the former president's inner circle personally enriched themselves from the event.

"We know that Guilfoyle was paid for the introduction she gave at the speech on January 6. She received compensation for that," Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., told CNN on Monday. "$60,000 for two-and-a-half minutes."

Still, she told the outlet, it remains unclear Guilfoyle's address constitutes any kind of financial crime. "I don't know," she explained. "You know, we're a legislative committee. So that's, that's for somebody else to decide. But for example, we know that Guilfoyle was paid for the introduction she gave at the speech. I mean, on January 6, she received compensation for that."

    "I'm not saying it's a crime," she added, "but I think it's a grift."

A Republican member of the committee also called out Guilfoyle's payday as a "scam."

Guilfoyle, Illinois Rep. Adama Kinzinger tweeted, is "so committed to the cause that she took 60K for a two min speech. It's a scam folks. And MAGA inc is laughing at you."

    twitter.com/adamkinzinger/status/1536682158374457344

News of Guilfoyle's speaking fee comes as part of an investigation into Trump's apparent scheme to mislead donors shortly after President Biden won the 2020 election.

According to investigators, Trump bilked his loyal fanbase out of some $250 million during the two months following his loss by promising to use the money in lawsuits challenging the 2020 election. Instead, the committee said, much of that sum went to his Save America PAC as well as his personal allies, including Guilfoyle. The fund also went to lawsuits challenging various social media platforms over their content moderation policies.

"These weren't rich people," Lofgren said of Trump's donors. "They were conned by the president. It was a big lie and it was also a big rip-off."

Adav Noti, a former associate general counsel at the Federal Election Commission, called Trump's alleged deceit "dangerously close to fraud."

"If a regular charity – or an individual who didn't happen to be president of the United States – had raised tens of millions of dollars through that sort of deception, they would face a serious risk of prosecution," she told The Guardian.

Guilfoyle agreed to meet with the committee back in April. According to CNN, the panel subpoenaed her after she abruptly ended a closed-door interview earlier this year.

The core of the Trump con has always been to wink and say, "If we're going to win, I need stupid people to vote for me, so when I feed the Rubes what they want to hear, you just smile and n0d." Of course every Rube thinks they're the shill and everybody else is the Rube.

Seriously, these are the people who stormed the Capitol and attacked policemen in an attempt to stop the certification of the election, and thought Trump would give them pardons after it was over. You can't get more Rube than that.

I still just can't believe there wasn't more guns fired. I mean - what's the 2A for if not to take down the tyrants? Where were all their guns? Country full of guns, and barely anyone shot dead? They call that an insurrection? Where were their Ar15's - could have got Pence and Nancy if they did it right. Sheesh.

I would say Biden will finish his term and probably run for a second term.
The dems have an uphill battle for the midterm. But that seems to happen in every midterm.
If the Election Defense Fund of $250,000,000 is used against the dems, they won’t have a chance! Oh wait, all that money was siphoned off to Trump and his cohorts. Well, his supporters will cough up more, no doubt.

Giving a campaign contribution to Donald Trump is like giving money to the guy holding the "Will work for food" cardboard sign. The money isn't going for food or a clean shirt for a job interview.

Just like the kind souls who give to beggars don't care what he does with the money, Trump supporters don't care that they paid Donjr's girlfriend $60k to give a 2 minute speech.

Trump owes Rudy about a million dollars and he talked for free.

The difference is despicables are hypocrites about it.
