I would say nobody starts a convo to end in relationship so if a guy approaches someone it depends how the conversation goes, it may end up on sex only but if the click is there it may lead to a relationship. Nowadays nobody is lacking sex, everyone can fuck somebody each day of the week.

 

Harsh but fair.......all is sometimes not what it seems.

 

I have always found sex to be better when in a relationship.

 

I like a relationship that leads to sex.

 

My opinion: Men want a relationship that provides good-consistent-reliable-sex. Everything else is not as important. That is until 'everything else' negatively affects or does not provide for, good-consistent-reliable-sex. Straight or gay, the same requirement rules.

Everything else in life, money, kids, job - they're all secondary, they all change. Sex needs to be good, consistent, and reliable.

 

I prefer relationships.

 

I know many women will hate me for this answer. I'm not much into stranger sex. I've always fantasized over friends or her sister. I need to have a mental bond with those I know. I too believe sex with somebody you know is safer and can be more intimate and comfortable. Most women, my wife included frown upon the idea of sex with someone known. They treat like it's taboo

 

Women give sex for love and men give love for sex.

 

Having been in a relationship now for over 40 years despite the decline in sex, I still prefer the relationship over just sex. In this day and age where people are meeting online sight unseen, cat fished and such I'd still have to work just as hard for a meaningful sexual relationship over random acts!

 

For me it depends on the lady. If she is easy on the eyes, great in bed but the brains of a 12 year old then relationship is out of the question as for most men I spend more time talking with than I do having sex. But put brains and bedroom prowess together and a relationship is possible

 

Understandable. Men must think I have the brains of a 12 year old then.

 

I've had enough relationships. I'm at the point where I'll take the sex and then leave me alone.

 

The question here is what you looking for in a man

 

Think it all depends where one is at in life. Younger me wanted sex, 30 to 45 yo me liked relationships but was crazy busy with being self-employed we both were at that time. Now the 50 yo me retired only wants sex. We enjoy our me time too much for a family but that was our lifestyle not for everyone.

 

I was married and enjoyed it and I have been in several relationships with women where we live together. I am in a seven year relationship with a woman whom I really enjoy being with. We are in our 70’s. We have sex. If we did not have sex I think I would look for another relationship. It took me 18- 24 months to find a woman to be in a relationship this time. It takes a lot of effort but very worthwhile. My gf also wanted to be in a relationship and was working had to meet a worthy partner.

 

From my limited experience, I think most men want a relationship but it must include a lot of sex.

 

I'd say the consensus if 50-50, but almost the same thing can be said for the ladies. I will probably go for the sex next time before the relationship.
