Beer,
Thanks to my Father who decided he was going to get into home brewing. He put down his first batch, couldn't wait, opened the first bottle within what seemed like a few days and proceeded to give me ( then 13 yrs old ) a very large glass of it, not knowing any better, I downed the whole thing in one go, puked my guts out and the smell of beer still turns my stomach.

Now I'm forced to drink top shelf... woe is me

 

I can't drink any booze at all ... on the 9 th of Jan 2025 , it will be 26 yrs since i stopped being a practicing alcoholic... 1 drink with me , anything is possible

I’m a beer drinker and don’t really do any liquor. Every once in awhile I’ll have a shot of something with others. I know my limits when drinking beer. I gotta stay in my lane. I don’t think I’ve puked since college? 42 ish years ago.

 

Peppermint schnapps.

About a million years ago I drank only Absolut. But I was in a car with someone who pulled out a bottle of schnapps and we polished it off in no time. It didn’t even seem like a "real" (alcoholic) drink, but a few hours later, after lots of Absolut, it all came up in a horrific torrent, and I’ve never been able to tolerate the taste or smell of peppermint since that day.
