Coupla things.

At least from moderator accounts, when a post is edited but left in place, a note appears at the bottom of the post saying who edited it, regardless of when the original post was made. There's a time-stamp. There's also the option to leave a comment. Some people do, some don't. That's a feature we mods can't turn off. It appears it's a necessary feature of the way the admin account, ILoveMyJob, works, too. When she edits a post in threads, her mark is there.

I'm pretty software illiterate, but I do know that vBulletin, xenForo, and other platforms have features which the owner/webmaster/dev/boogeyman can enable or disable. "Super Mod" may be one of them. I'm sure there are others. A good example was our short-lived reputation point system, enabled soon after the so-called upgrade. Someone upstairs enabled the feature, but then saw that is stirred shit AND fucked up other features, so it was turned off.

If someone is fucking with things, I don't know who it is and have no good way to find out. I WILL say that BD does not and never has had mod permissions.

Brian Damage is a troll who does not have moderator rights.

When posts are edited by someone else, their name and a date stamp is left. I proved that to you. A moderator cannot edit without evidence being left behind. I do not know about the permissions of an admin.

If I had 6 accounts - which I don't - only the account granted permissions by the admins has the ability to do anything outside of what regular members can do.

This is the way VBulletin is now. Can there be SuperMods? Of course. however, it was tested a couple of years ago and it did not work the way it was planned. It has not been used since, other than the short time it was given to ILoveMyJob as a title. Obviously, she is now an administrator.

You keep talking about whole threads being edited and I'm not sure which ones you mean. I can only tell you what I know and if there is a mod who has extra powers, I don't know about it. Stumbler can call bullshit all he wants. He can believe the worst about me and I just don't care anymore. But I thought you and I were friends, and I would not lie to you.

A long time ago - Diedre days - a poll was changed by the owner. There was no evidence that he did that and another moderator was falsely blamed. Is that the case now? I would have no way of knowing. Although my actions can be seen and tracked by the admin, I cannot see theirs.
