True love

If I may, I will give you advice by telling you what happened to me.

I met a woman several years ago and we became friends. Then we became best friends. Then we became lovers. Then we got married.

She was taller than me, and 5 years older than me. She was defenitly not the best looking woman that I have ever met, but at the same time she was the most beautiful woman that I have ever met.

I remember that she once broke something very expensive, lots of little glass pieces all over the floor. My only thought at the time (and my words to her) was to make sure she was unharmed by the accident. I reasured her that things are just objects, she was real and living and mattered more to me than what she had broken.

Over the years she did indeed gain more than a few pounds, but my feelings for her only changed for the better, as I loved her more each day we were together.

Then one day she went to the Dr. for a tummy ache that would not stop. She had ovarian cancer and died 4 weeks later. That was in 1998, and I still love her and will always remember her.

My point is that we do not know what tomorrow will be like. Do you? If you fine someone that will love you for who you are, and you can return that unconditional love, then for that one day you are the luckiest person on Earth. Tomorrow you may indeed get divorced, but today you love and are happy. Be happy, live happy, don't change her, love her just the way she is.
