I aint arguing I'm being sarcastic, I think peanut was trying to be funny, but you know what they say about Germans and their sense of humour, it seems pseudo Germans are even less funny. Ask Jamie90 she should be able to confirm it, as she is eine heiße deutsche Dame.

 

She was neither censored nor shouted down, she chose not to speak. In other words she chickened out because she couldn't take the heat. These guys only know how to talk to a rigged audience. My understanding is that the protest was actually outside and that she would have been allowed to speak if she had chosen to. Canadian's don't like hate speech which is also against the law. Personally I would like to have seen her speak then get arrested and do a couple of years but that's just me.

 

While I agree that Canadians have the opportunity for moral and ethical superiority over Americans, we face a dilemna - how do we get rid of Harper and Ignatieff when we have a totally outmoded electoral system. (I am not arguing for the American system, just pointing out that both of them deserve to be dumped!

Frankly...the only thing that keeps me from becoming a Canadian is gun laws.Appart from that Canada rocks!If George Bush were still around we could invade and make it the 51st state...but that might kinda ruin things a bit...

What exactly are the gun laws there? I've only known two canadians and they were a bit baffled that I carried guns in my pickup but I just assumed it was bc they were city slickers and not rednecks.

On another note, one of those canadians was my sales coordinator. He drove me fucking crazy with his "ayes"

I actually debated wether to type it as eh or aye. It was kind of a bastardized mixture of both it seemed. Gawddamn that drove me nuts. I even gave him the nickname "fat bastard canadian dale" bc he drove me so crazy...lol

 

Well, Ontario-ways it's definitely a hard "A" sound. No mistaking it with "I".

 

Well this was the dairy business so he had lived in wisconsin and michigan during their dairy boom before the texas panhandle boom so it might have been the canadian accent mixed in with the wisconsin accent now that i think about it. You can't trust those shifty wisconsinites, they'll fuck up your speech patterns and steal your intelligence if you don't watch it..
