Actually, true conservatives believe in free will. Conservatives believe you should have freedom of choice, whether it be porn, medical plans, or a dinner menu (et.al.).

People who try to ban can be found on both sides of the aisle. Don't forget, it was Al Climategate Gore's wife who tried to ban certain bands from recording because she believe they were evil. People calling themselves conservatives haved waged war against porn, but it was actually local left of the aisle democrat politicians who waged war on local strip clubs-so go figure.

 

Sorry, but restricting sex, and trying to outlaw porn are two of the goals of Conservatives/Republicans in this nation and always have been. And you're very naive to think they aren't working right now to restrict access to porn even on the internet. So you can say you don't feel that way but your GOP does.

Nearly all the laws we have against consensual crimes are the direct acts of Conservatives/Republicans.

You make a good point about Tipper, although in fairness, I think she was far more concerned about violent imagery than she was about sexual imagery.

As far as strip clubs go, I can only point to San Francisco, often pointed to by conservatives as the ultimate ultra-liberal city. And what you find there are strip clubs that have no boundaries whatsoever, and where prostitution is rampant.
