Oh, it's not a choice. I think most people are born with whatever sexual preference they have and I do think that sexual preference can be somewhat fluid. I've never been attracted to women, but I think you can be attracted to a particular person. In my case, those particular people have always been men, but if by some bizarre chance I fell in love with a person who happened to be female, I guess I'd just have to go with it. Sure, it would be uncharted territory for me, but you always take a risk when you let yourself love someone and let them love you. A gay friend of mine once said "You can choose who you fuck, but you can't choose who you love" and I think that's true.

 

Bi nowadays. It took a long time to figure that out but I'm happy with it now. I lean more toward guys though.

 

This may be the most sence anybody has made into this entire thread so far. I've known people who have been straight except for one person of the opposite gender they loved, and that was it. No feeling to any other men, just this one person.

 

I also have met some people, men, whom I can say I love, but... not the way some imply here!

Anyway, I agree with your friend, even if he's gay.

In fact, I have also met some people here, suspected to be gay - three of them have really impressed me with their professional expertize and general culture. I really truly respect them!

Anyway, their attitude, really, has nothing to do with what, unfortunately, I've encountered on this forum...

 

I haven't lied about anything. The only thing that comes close to being dishonesty is the fact that I added "turd" to your quote in my sig and that is a joke. Not a lie. I don't think anyone believes you actually called yourself a turd. I haven't seriously twisted anything you said. I don't think you have a mastery of the english language as much you think you do.

It seems to me that you are the one trying to say you are more equal than the rest of us because you think your freedom to avoid any gay content should go beyond the ability to simply ignore what you don't like and force a rift or separation on the rest of this community. Am I clear?

 

This really starts to be an endless argue - so, I'll just try to make things very concise - I so happen to be certified by Brainbench in written English - not that I ever needed it - I just wanted to face the challenge.

At the moment I've obtained it, my results were better than 80% of the Americans. :excited:

So, please, just please, let it go, unless you really think that you are better than Brainbench!

 

If you want to start comparing test scores: When I was 18 I scored better than 98% of other Americans when I took the ACT (college entrance exams). But that doesn't mean anything in the real world Vlad.

Do you really think that scoring a B- on a written english test means you understand the nuances of conversational and anecdotal english that is used in an internet forum? And, apparently, the Brainbench certification tests are filled with errors so I wouldn't put much stock into that qualification.

And why are you shifting the conversation away from your assertion that the rest of should give you a guaranteed freedom from gay or lesbian content that you are already free to simply ignore?

Sorry. It suddenly dawned on me that you are Romanian. I don't know anything about the language. I am impressed. You seem to have a pretty good grip on the English language. I only know a little French and even less Spanish. The Closet Repuplican thing is a political joke. The folks that are democrats say you may as well be a fag if you are a republican and live in Texas. Trouble is, Texas usually goes to the republicans during election time. I guess Texas is full of fags that only come out of the closet to vote.

The English that I do understand has really helped me (and still helps!) in some of my work and friendship connections in the real world.

Anyway, maybe you just haven't had the occasion to speak to foreigners...
The idea is that, if I meet someone who, being a foreigner, has learned to speak Romanian, I just take care to use the BASIC Literary Romanian, so that the person would REALLY understand what we are talking about...

Normally, if you go to a public place, and, suddenly, you just need to use a toilet, you'll usually find that place having TWO SEPARATE doors, mentioning "ladies" & "gents". And, here, at least, many civilized places also have a third door, for the people with disabilities...
