Chapter 3


The next morning I lay awake in my bed thinking about what had happened the previous night. I wondered what Drew was thinking and what he thought of my mom and I. I couldn't take it any longer and got out of bed and went down the hall to the guest bedroom to see if he was up yet. As I passed mom's room, I noticed she must already be up as her room was empty. I got down to Drew's door and it was closed but not latched. I couldn't hear him snoring so I figured he was probably up too so I pushed the door open and looked inside.
