Anybody use adult meeting sites (adult friend finder etc) and if so which one?

 

We had a gold membership to AFF.com for a few years. We met alot of people on there, and as all sites go, not everyone was as described. We ended up being quite active on there. We attended alot of the meet and greets, which surprisingly did not always end up in huge orgies like everyone thinks. My wife even became a moderator on one of the forums for a while! But we haven't used it in a while... Overall it was good for us.

 

I'm on both Alt and AFF, and have had great experiences with both. Bear in mind a woman's experience on any hook-up site will be markedly different to a man's...

 

I've had some hook-ups on Craigslist. But mostly just some email exchanges.

 

We have used sexsearch for years, some of our wildest hookups have been through it. Craigslist was always a 60/40 chance. Most often bad encounters and less then often have been decent.

 

Any tips how to be successful on those sites?

 

a few tips.
First , most sights run at about ten single men for 'every' woman , married or single on the sight , or worse.
Don't be fooled by membership figures [most still count every member who signed on , regardless of weather they are or ever were 'active' members]
so do a little research , as in how many are on line at various times , how many have been on in the previous week , month or whatever ,
in your area.
No point in paying to join a sight that has few or no active members in your area of interest.
Most sights now days even if free to join, you can not make any real contact without becomeing a paid member , and then , mostly , you can not get a reply from any non paying members.
So it is only recently active paying members within your area that count,
and you can bet probably half or more may be time wasters.

I have a rule of thumb that has worked almost one hundred percent on all sights over many years.
If they are genuine , actually interested and ever likely to actually meet ,
they will give you usefull information , within about two weeks of contact.
So ,
if they haven't , you can probaly write them off .
Pretty much all sights are infested with pretenders , wannabe's and time wasters of all verieties
so
To have any real chance you have to put in quite a lot of effort.

First , read right through all of any profile that interests you [I do at least twice] , and only make contact with those that you actually fit "thier" requirements of what "they" are looking for.

Then put some real effort into composeing a decent message telling about yourself , interest in them , makeing it interesting without being longwinded and boreing.
One liners are a no brainer waste of time,
and so are long drawn out boreing epistles.
Don't bullshit or exaggerate , you will only get found out , piss people off and end up looking really stupid. [Remember many also chat amongst themselves]

For example you can't tell them your six foot with a ten inch dick , and turn up only five foot two with a five inch dick , and expect to get anywhere.
AND,
Always turn up to any meet , well washed and "clean" all over , in clean tidy cloths , and smelling good.
but not over scentad like a public toilet , lol.
Obvious really .
Mostly common sense and persaverence.
Expect lots of no replies and nothankyou's along the way.
