On Thursday night, the pair of journalists went on-air to discuss the astronomical figures Mike Bloomberg spent on his presidential campaign.

Williams and Gay then featured a tweet to highlight Bloomberg’s spending. However, it was clearly wrong with its basic math. The post, which has since been deleted, stated:

“Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads, while the U.S. population is 327 million. he could have given each American $1 million and still have money left over.”

It was clear Williams and Gay didn’t stop to think or fact check that if Bloomberg’s money was divvied out each American would actually get just about $1.50, not a million.


Despite the numbers not adding up, the journalists marveled at the post and called it an astonishing way of putting Bloomberg’s investments in perspective.

 

Trump and his Republican sycophants in the Senate are gearing up to "investigate" Joe and Hunter Biden for "corruption." And that is the biggest mistake they could make. Because the US has never seen the level of corruption that is going on in the White House by Trump and his kids. Ok this is a big one and couldn't be more perfect timing. The biggest wild card out there is who is Elizabeth Warren going to endorse. And most observers were shocked she didn't just endorse Bernie Sanders the day she dropped out because they have a lot in common as far as being progressives. So Harris endorsing Biden gives him another big boost with women and black voters. And the longer Warren stays mum on an endorsement the more it helps Biden. Warren has a massive following that could really hurt Biden is she throws her support to Sanders. But one thing I think is holding her back is as soon as she announced she was ending her campaign she was besieged by thousands of her supporters asking her to endorse Biden. Which seems surprising but just goes to show how worried Democrats are that Sanders cannot win against Trump. And if Warren fails to endorse Sanders before next Tuesday when six more states vote that could be the end for Sanders. But even if Warren were to come out and endorse Sanders right now the impact would be blunted because Harris supporters, some of which also supported Warren, will swing in favor of Biden.
