Sen. Graham writes letter to Sen. Schumer opposing impeachment

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) fired off a letter to Sen. Chuck Shumer (D-N.Y.) opposing the impeachment push against President Trump. In the letter on Saturday, Graham told Schumer if the Senate does not immediately dismiss the article against President Trump, it will delay the healing of the nation.

Graham also asserted an impeachment trial for a former president would be unconstitutional. The senator is also calling on Joe Biden to stop impeachment efforts.


“It’s a horribly bad idea that would further divide the county. Put the presidency itself at risk and I hope that Democrats will stand down,” Graham stated. “I’m calling on President-elect Biden in the spirit of healing the nation to tell Schumer and Pelosi end the impeachment of President Trump after he leaves office.”

Graham also urged Schumer to withstand partisan pressure regarding impeachment.

Guatemalan security forces clash with migrant caravan

As thousands of migrants in Guatemala push through police barricades to reach the United States, many Americans are left concerned about Democrat attitudes toward the issue.

On Sunday, a report exposed a violent caravan of roughly 1,000 migrants who edged their way through security forces despite being tear gassed, all in a bid to make their way to Mexico with the United States as their final destination.

“We were informed just last night that elements of the Honduran Maras criminal gang and organized crime had infiltrated,” stated Guillermo Diaz, director of the Guatemalan Migration Institute. “This worried us more, and fortunately the forces of law and order established a contingency plan for these cases and controlled this that was a battle.”

While President Trump’s immigration policy ensures migrants must wait for asylum approval before entering the U.S., Joe Biden has pledged to overturn this.

While the radical left has a track record of glamorizing illegal immigration, it overlooks the recent research on brutal exploitation and violence that vulnerable women and children face during illegal border crossings.

In a recent interview conducted by Fusion, directors of migrant shelters claimed 80 percent of Central American female migrants are raped while traveling through South America on their way to the U.S. border.

This is further supported by a study from Amnesty International, which asserted that such treks put vulnerable female migrants at significant risk of sexual violence. The threats are particularly from criminal gangs, human traffickers, other migrants as well as corrupt officials.

Moreover, attorney Elvira Gordillo, who has lived and worked along the Mexico-Guatemala border for over a decade, expressed concern and claimed that almost all women are abused on their way up north.

While speaking in Florida, President Trump contrasted Biden’s defeatist immigration plan to his own efforts to keep America secure.

“We’re not letting criminals into our country, our country would surrender control of our border and we would surrender control to the cartels in Mexico who are vicious,” he stated. “The Biden border plan would be the biggest gift in the history.”

Despite this, Biden has appeared to push policies that directly incentivize illegal border crossing. His intentions were specifically exposed at the first Democrat debate in which he claimed his administration would provide free federal health care for all illegal immigrants.

According to a study by the Center for Immigration Studies, giving undocumented immigrants access to federally funded health care in the U.S. could cost up to $23 billion per year. Moreover, this would be on top of the $45.8 billion of which the federal government already shells out to illegal aliens and their children for expenditures such as public education, health care and welfare programs.

 

Alberta premier calls on Biden not to cancel Keystone pipeline

The premier of Alberta, Canada has called on Joe Biden to not stop the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. On Sunday, Jason Kenney said cancelling the project would eliminate jobs on both sides of the border and increase the U.S.’s oil dependence on imports from OPEC members like Saudi Arabia.

Biden has signaled his intention to rescind the permit given to Canadian company TC Energy immediately after his inauguration. Kenney said if Biden does terminate the project, the government of Canada is prepared to take legal action.

Meanwhile, criticism over Biden’s plan to scrap the Keystone XL pipeline project is not just coming from outside the U.S. According to a presentation currently being circulated among Washington, D.C. lobbyists and trade groups, the Democrat plans on rescinding the permit for expansion of the pipeline as part of his day one agenda.

The project has become a symbol for the far-left’s environmentalist wing, which pursued a campaign of legal blockades that forced the pipeline’s operator to defend itself in numerous courtrooms for nearly a decade.

Biden’s assault on the American energy industry is set to launch the moment he takes office.

 

Biden to focus on domestic terror, possibly targeting Trump supporters

Joe Biden’s national security team will reportedly take actions against domestic extremism in the wake of the Capitol Hill demonstrations as well as ongoing threats to Washington, D.C. and state capitol buildings.

According to reports this week, Biden transition officials and his incoming national security team are seeking to shift government resources for counter-terrorism to fight domestic threats.

During Senate confirmation hearings Tuesday, Biden’s nominee for director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, said she would draft a public report of the conspiracy theory QAnon, which has been labeled by the mainstream media as a “cult” and part of the fuel that led to the January 6 violence.

If she is confirmed as the nation’s top intelligence chief, Haines promised to work with federal law enforcement agencies conducting these political probes.

“Obviously the Intelligence Community is not in the lead in managing these events,” she stated. “It’s the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, but the Intelligence Community I hope will have an important role in supporting their work and ultimately in particular looking at any connections there are between folks in the United States and externally foreign.”

This new Biden terror agenda is being slammed by conservatives who fear this is an effort to target the Trump base.

The mainstream media has already amplified this narrative as former deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe claimed on CNN that pro-Trump supporters have been radicalized by President Trump. He went as far as comparing them to ISIS militants.

“They’ve clearly been radicalized and it explodes in an orgy of violence and mayhem,” said McCabe. “And just insanity…it has all the hallmarks of a riot of extremists.”

Former Trump campaign adviser Mercedes Schlapp issued a warning about McCabe’s comments on Twitter Monday. She fired back, noting this is where the left is going next.

Schlapp went on to say the irresponsibility of the left is appalling and will cause further division.

Texas prepares lawsuits against Joe Biden’s policies, Gov. Abbott says Biden’s proposals on immigration & environment are illegal

On Monday, Texas officials said they will take Biden to court over his proposals to open up the U.S. border, forgive student debt and restrict manufacturing activity.

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) said Biden’s policies come in blatant violation of the constitutional rights of U.S. states. Abbott added the litigation will focus on stopping federal overreaches on immigration and the environment.

Meanwhile, Texas led similar lawsuits against the Obama administration during its time in office.
