cmon N.E. Woman, way to ruin the ending. it's like saying rosebud was the sled. where as I always thought it was a butthole reference.

But no I don't want to take away anything, twisty or not

I said the original conception was part 1 part 2 meat and potatoes and part 3 sweet.

I would prefer if people picked either: the first method they chose to read as eligible for voting (that being most true to the menu idea, aperitif, main course, dessert) that would most likely be simplest too...
or otherwise an average of each part if they read all of them but decide some parts are better than others (I knew people would want to go back for seconds of dessert at least and hoped they would for main course as well).

I don't want to dictate which ones the readers pick that would defeat the purpose of the menu.

I reiterate that I get that it's confusing. Sorry. I don't know what else to say.

 

I did mention Parking Lot Variations, but I didn't read them until after the idea was really firmly planted in my head. Reason being it was too far down the page until it got a bump about a week and a half ago. Then I read it and said "SHIT! he beat me to it."

Of course metropolis beat both of us to it. even though I wasn't particularly crazy about his version (he had the readers vote to see which sexual path the sexual adventurer would take)... I miss metropolis I was a fan.

 

Common enough for us in the forum, how many times have we assumed a great idea is ours to present to everyone, and then discovered someone else has already delved that ground? Often extensively at that?

Until you mentioned the other story I had assumed (something I really need to stop doing) that WSF had begun the first multi-ending story in the forum.

Still, even with ground already traveled by others, I hold it is what we bring to that region of writing for the readers which makes our legacy distinctive in and of itself, as is shown with the sheer diversity of stories in a regular CAW, and more so in this KAW.

 

There is about seven and a half hours left to post.

I will admit, far better than I had expected or anticipated for the KAW, I had figured we would get about eight total; and with such quality tales, its going to be a hard won race to the finish.
