Access to their fishing grounds off the coast of Gaza......a definite NO, and fishermen shot at if they tried to fill their nets.

More humanitarian aid to be let into the Gaza Strip.....the Israeli response was to let food and vital goods to rot in the sun on the back of the delivery trucks.

The list is endless and every one of them were ignored or refused.

So come to the table to negotiate, why should they bother when they know what the answer will be.

One thing is for sure, no other country is interested in helping the Palestinians.

They should come to the table and submit their arguments and demands and then be prepared for some give and take.

Not all the issues need be settled on the first day.

The Israeli's and Palestinians have a long road to travel before all disputes can even be discussed.

But with every long journey, it all starts with the first step.

When two nations want the same territory, there can be no mutually acceptable compromise. There can only be conflict until one of the two nations has all the territory.
