I've never kept a sex journal but I do like the idea and I don't think it's weird at all. A friend of mine told me that her husband kept a journal and even had statistics on their sex life. He kept track of what positions they used, what position was most likely to trigger an orgasm, what time of day they did it, day of the week, day of her menstrual cycle, etc.

 

When I was younger and kept a journal I used to put a little mark in the side for every day I had sex. Could have made an impressively detailed statistical analyses over my first few sexual partners at least lol

 

I don’t need a written sex journal. I have all of that stored away in my mind. My personal memory bank and I can revisit particular moments when I like. Sometimes I’m not even trying to recall a sexual memory but certain ones just come to mind randomly.

 

I keep a list of who & how many

 

It’s a work in progress. But it’s more of a short list than a journal

 

I have never kept an actual sex journal
However I am already carving notches on my third bed post.

 

I wish I'd had the nerve to keep one. It would be fun to read now. But I was always afraid someone would find it.
My stories now are just exaggerated versions of what would have been in such a journal.

Keeping a diary, even if it's a sexy diary, isn't weird at all, it's very normal.

 

I'd say that depends on what you'd put in it... no one wants to read Jeffrey Dahmer sex journal.

 

I've never kept one, but I wouldn't think it weird if someone did. Journals are kept on all subjects, why not sex?

 

This thread is 13 months old and every time it gets bumped I still haven't started a sex journal.

Let's face it, high school and college would have been the really interesting time for me to do that.
