    More than one Senator and Congressman owes their lives to Mike Pence's Secret Service detail. The Capitol Police could not be trusted to protect any Legislators. Trump has never withdrawn his accusations against Pence. It just remains to be seen how many Trump supporters are still receiving secret messages which are encoded in Trump's public statements.

      Trump appeals to idiots. It's not really more complicated than that. Yesterday one of them told me the United States has never repaid any money it borrowed. That's the education level of a Trump supporter. GOP politicians are on their knees to Trump because they think he controls votes. If(actually when) this turns out to be an illusion, GOP Senators and Representatives will dump him like an ugly blind date.

      A lot of people will hold their nose and vote for the candidate they think will win. Trumpet candidates take GOP candidates farther right in state primaries, which will strip away nose holders. As it is now, Trump supporters have to cozy up to the Proud Boys and the Capitol Cop Killers. It remains to be seen how that will play in the mid term elections.

    Democrats proposed a bill to bolster the federal government’s control over elections. House lawmakers, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) are pushing the “For the People Act” through the lower chamber in hopes that representatives will take up the legislation by the first week of February.

    However, critics claimed the reforms within the bill are just another power play by Democrats seeking to make the election process similar to the one in California. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) even called a previous version of the bill a “massive federal government take over that would undermine the integrity of our elections.”

    Despite these concerns, Democrats sponsoring the bill claimed it would help Americans place more trust in elections.


    “If we could get the reforms that are embodied in H.R.1 into law it would be absolutely transformational,” Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) said. “It would be the most robust, breathtaking set of reforms that we’ve seen in two generations.”

    The “For the People Act” would prohibit states from requiring identification for individuals voting by mail. The legislation would also forbid states from requiring a witness signature on absentee ballots. Under general circumstances, election officials may not impose signature verification requirements in order to accept or count an absentee ballot.

    The bill would also enable ballot harvesting by allowing individuals to designate another person to drop off their ballot as long as they are not being paid to do so.

    While former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) blocked the bill in the past, Democrats will likely use their majority in both chambers to push the proposal through until it is signed into law by Joe Biden.

    The Biden administration may be making moves which could make committing voter fraud easier.

    Analysts this week are citing comments made on Tuesday by White House adviser Susan Rice, who said the White House will be addressing voting rights in their push for racial equity.

    Democrats have pushed for bills allowing for automatic and online voter registration and making universal mail-in ballots permanent, claiming they are aimed at increasing voter turnout.

    Rice said voting rights are a legitimate concern and the U.S. needs to expand access to the ballot.

    “It’s a matter of real concern because we ought to be in the business of encouraging and enabling all Americans who are eligible to vote to be able to vote,” Rice stated. “And that’s why we will continue to work with Congress on its various efforts to advance democratic reforms.”

    However, experts maintain any new voting laws should have bipartisan support as Republicans have reform changes in mind like stricter voter ID laws and tighter signature verification.
