Cut Cap and Balance requires a constitutional amendment and the conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers walked out on President Obama's plan so between walking out on any workable agreements, holding the budget hostage trying to force cuts the majority of Americans don't want, and shooting off their mouths that they didn't think a credit default would be that bad the Tea Party most definitely caused the first downgrade of US credit in our history.

That does not seem to be the case here. Obama inaugeration unemployment rate was what 7.6%,,then the geniuses decided to spend $787 billion as a 'stimulus', then unemployment goes as high as 10.2%, after the government 'stimulus' now it is maintaining a constant 9.0%+/-...

Except you forget that we were going through a concurrent financial crisis and credit crunch. Without the stimulus things would have been much worse and the equity markets would not have stabilized so quickly.

NO.....Things would have not been worse. The only thing that the stimulus did in real affect was raise the debt. The economy is still terrible,unemployment is way above what Obama had promised.
